A drawn area in the South Side with its parcels, owners and top targets counted
  1. Draw the neighborhoodLoop the streets you work, or a whole neighborhood. Deedplat counts the homes and owners inside.
  2. Narrow it downFilter to houses held 15 years or more, skip the ones with a recent permit, or color by owner type to separate owner-occupied homes from landlords.
  3. Mail every ownerPrint a letter to each owner from your own template, or labels for postcards, or download the list as a spreadsheet.

What else you get

Long-held homes

Years since the last sale on every house. A home held 15 or 20 years is often on its original roof, furnace or water heater.

Permit history

Building permits on each parcel, with the work and what it cost, so you can skip the houses that just had the job done.

New owners

Recent sales by neighborhood. New buyers are the ones renovating in their first year.

Landlords with many doors

Same owner shows every landlord with several properties, so one relationship can turn into a dozen jobs.

Questions

Does Deedplat show the age of a roof or HVAC system?

Not directly. It shows years since the last sale, building permits and what they were for, and the year a building was built where the county publishes it. A system age estimate built from those records is coming.

Can I mail every homeowner in a neighborhood?

Yes. Draw the area or filter the map, then print a letter to every owner from your own template, or mailing labels on standard sheets, or download the list as a spreadsheet.

Does it include phone numbers or emails?

No. Deedplat uses public records only: owner names and the mailing address on the tax bill.
